Day Five
Day Five is complete. I reluctantly left the Pacific Coast (man, it was hard leaving that hotel room with that ocean view) and started on my task of driving the entire length of US Route 20, the longest road in the country. Route 20 took me from Newport through Corvallis (home of Oregon State University), Bend (home of the best damn burger I've ever had, thank you Pilot Butte Drive-In!), and a lot of little towns before taking me to Boise, Idaho for the night. It's getting kinda late, so I won't expand too much. But the photos kind of tell the story of today: great scenery and long roads! See you tomorrow, when I take on the rest of Idaho and another chunk of Route 20!
